TweakUI : How to turn off/on beep on error

I wanted to post about password cracking of zip files today, the method which you could use in case you lost the password of your zip files or you wanted to be a peeping tom, looking inside your friends files but before that I want to create a large user base for my blog so I will be posting some nice tricks which you can use to enhance your windows xp experience.

I am not sure if you like the nagging beep sound in windows or not (which come a lot of times on windows on error) so there is a method, a very simple one given here to stop it. Download the tool called tweakui from the windows website and you can hack away to glory with it. I am going to explain each and every part in tweakui so that people searching for solutions to a particular problem on search engines can find it.

In tweakui and go to the general settings. There you’ll find a check box for ‘beep on errors’. In case you want to turn off beep on error, you can select the check box option. This is the simplest hack I have seen in windows xp to remove beep on error but there are many other ways too.
